This guide will assist students in Public Relations classes in locating and using library research tools. The guide is divided into sections appropriate for differing stages in the research process. Please let us know if there are additional resrouces you would like to have available!

 

Online Reference Sources

The following are electronic collections of reference materials: books, encyclopedias, biographies, handbooks, etc.

You will find these very useful as you begin your research, for overviews of topics, and even information about careers!

Credo Reference: a large collection of quality scholarly reference publications

Gale Virtual Reference: large variety of quick facts and brief articles

Sage E-Reference: many very useful reference materials, some with a specific focus on PR
