Getting Started
Reference works such as encyclopedias and guide books are a good place to get basic information on your research topic. Print reference books are available in the Reference area adjacent to the Information Commons on the first floor. For example:
- Encyclopedia of Twentieth Century Photography edited by Lynne Warren. (Routledge, 2006)
The library also has an extensive set of electronic reference works available online. For example:
- Grove Art Online This database provides access to several dictionaries and guides on art and art history, including photography.
