Welcome

Welcome to the Pacific Library! This guide is designed to lead you to useful resources for your class. If you have questions, don't hesitate to find me or ask a Reference Librarian for help! For a quick research overview, visit our PLUTO tutorial!

Got Research? Smart Tigers "Pounce" on It!

Use Pounce to get connected to library materials, such as books, ebooks, videos, journals, research articles, and more. Make sure to limit your search by source type (book, academic journal, etc.), year, and more to make sure you're getting the best results.

Don't forget to save your sources by printing them, emailing them to yourself, or capturing the citations in a word document.

Films

The library subscribes to "Films on Demand" where you can view many documentary films and even use them in class presentations!

Here is an example:

Human violence and mass murder are documented in biblical times. Perpetrators find justification for their actions. The roots of genocide date back to the dawn of civilization.
