Welcome

This guide is for students enrolled in PACS 2- No Kill Nation with Dr. McFall. Use it as a starting point to connect with books, articles and other resources for your research.

Getting Started

For this class you will need to find information sources such as books or articles as part of your group projects and individual papers.

You may not be able to find entire books about your specific topic in the Library, but you can often find books that contain a chapter or section on your topic. For example, there may not be a book that is all about use of therapy dogs with veterans who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder, but a book on the general topic of therapy animals may contain information on using them for psychological conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder.

On the other hand, all of you should be able to find articles with information about your topics using the Library's article databases.
