Directions: May need to look for ones with longer entries.

Usage: Recent information (E.g. new laws)

CQ Electronic Library (CQ)
Description: American government, politics, history, public policy, and current affairs.
Special Feature: Nice long reports describing a topic

LexisNexis Academic
Description: Contains a # of news papers, including the New York Times.
Special Feature: News articles come out more regularly than journal articles.

Scholarly:

-Longer articles with more in-depth coverage
-Authors are experts (Ph.D/researchers)
-Author uses technical words and is more theoretical
-Contains a lengthy bibliography and/or footnotes

Popular:

-Shorter articles that merely touch on subjects
-Authors are staff writers or journalists
-No bibliography or footnotes
-Written at a highschool reading level
